Polishing of stainless steel

The brightening obtained by stainless steel polishing is an operation carried out at the end of the cycle, to improve the finish of stainless steel parts. It is a purely mechanical step, which consists of immersing the metal parts in a bath of stainless steel microbeads.

Thanks to the friction of the balls, a significant improvement of the stainless steel surface is obtained: homogenization of the surfaces, removal of scratches, elimination of grease, pickling, surface hardening…

Whatever the objective (finishing or cleaning), bead blasting is a simple and effective solution to obtain a perfect finish and to give a new aspect to stainless steel parts and fittings. It is widely used in the field of industrial pickling.
